"KANNAWIDAN 2011"

On this 16th anniversary of kannawidan,we have enough reason to be proud and happy because we are reaping the fruits o the seed we planted many years ago kannawidan has lived up to its mission and vision,that of preserving and perpetuating the rich Iloco cultural,artistic,hysterical and intellectual heritage.We are overwhelm with many possible impression of fellow Ilocanos about this festival.We are very happy that kannawidan gatherings have always been a venue for Ilocanos,relation and friends,sharing and exchanging thoughts views and insights on how I preserve and perpetuate are beautiful customs and tradition.Different programs and shows were made to entertain fellow Ilocanos,to make us feel that we are one in hearts and mind.This is the best line for us to remember the fruits of our labor especially to our good ancestor in the past who made everything for us possible and beneficial.Kannawidan festival is a time of rejoicing for us Ilocanos,at the same time a thanksgiving celebration to all of us.

CHANGE:"It starts with me"

Change is the only constant thing that happens in the world.We cannot change the fact that all of us and everything around us changes.The only thing we can is to be humans and wise enough to cope up with these changes.This could a advantage sometimes but its our responsibility to make these changes beneficial to all of us. A change for the better is the best thing we can contribute to the rest of the world.As a graduating student setting my goals or dreams and making this into reality is one way for me to show that the youth is still the hope of the future.A 16 year old girl is me, I can say that I have not yet fully come out myself.I still have some hesitation in life,which cause me to fear of what might happen at the end.My action show who I am.My parents always remind me to be conscious of my behavior especially on public places.Sometimes I tend to forget and that's why I get reminded.One great factor of the changes happening is our environment .There are many effects it can bring to us but its in our choice we make our life at its best or worst.

"The New Me"

The tradition of making a resolution on New Year's Day and trying to stick with it for a whole year has been done for centuries.Here's how modern promises like doing good acts will be on my list especially to the people who always see the good side of every person and that we should never fail to be a blessing to everyone. I want to change my self for the better. I will change my bad attitude to good.I will give more attention to my studies.For the sake of my future.I will do my very best to change and be more responsible enough to face my 2011 life. Lets start our new year more meaningful.

"The true essence of Christmas"

The breeze of a cold air,Christmas decorations around houses and establishments.Bazares having sales for the people who wish to buy gift and soon early masses also known as "Misa de Gallo" will be on our way.These are just few of the circumstances that Christmas is fast approaching.
all of us give special attention to this season,especially the Filipinos.We are known to really love this occasion because the importance we give is just incredible and incomparable.Christmas is a season of love.our dear Jesus was born to give us hope and life.That's why we celebrate each year.In-spite our busy time and fast phase changes of life we do not mess a thing to make this season meaningful and unforgettable.If people are asked on how they will celebrate it most probably they will have it with their5 family and love ones and that's because Christmas is all about sharing happy thoughts and deeds to t6he people we love.I just want it to be simple but very meaningful.doing good acts will be on my list esp. to the people who always see good side of every person and we should never fail to be a blessing to everyone.

"DURING MY SEMBREAK"

Many students and teachers have already set what they intend to do during their semestral break.However unsure how we will relax and at the same time be productive.
It was a tradition and our culture that we Filipinos are visiting the tomb of our love ones in the cemetery and offer our prayers. We went to the cemetery to visit our love ones and light candles and offered flowers and prayers during the feast of the dead November 01 , Monday.
Time is very very fast now a days. Imagine only last week we had our semestral break but now we are back in school again, back with our classmates, teachers and school works. But mind you guys, that semestral break gave us a lot of activities and fun for everyone.

Filipinnovation: The Way Forward

Through science and technology our country have many improvements.Everything was going right through this.Through technology,our works becomes more faster and efficient not other than there is no technology.
As a student I can easily search my projects and assignments through the use of computer of course with internet.Not other than that I can help my countryman by encouraging them to patronize our own product and love our own country not only ourselves by maintaining the clean and green program to our own towns and even our own barangays.
Through this we can easily innovate our own country.
